- I use Virtual Access from Ashmount, available from their web site at
- http://www.ashmount.com or on CIS: go ashmount. Freeware for Internet only
- use, Shareware for multi-service Internet/Compuserve/CIX use. Lots of
- features in this one. The CIS/Internet pkg is a 45 day time trial.
-
- It is an offline navigator for CompuServe, Internet News & Mail, Local
- Conferencing and email on a network or standalone, for single users or for
- workgroups. Windows 16&32 bit versions: Win31/WinNT/Win95.
-
- Great threading, address books, mail rules, killfiles, a "local" section for
- maintaining your own message base or a shared message base, etc. A real
- winner for CIS if you use that service as well. Terrific support on CIS,
- and they have some decent though spotty newsgroup coverage on their server
- at steed.ashmount.com in about 6 newsgroups.
